FBLA

The Archie Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America received its charter in 1977.  We are a member of Missouri District 10.  Over the years, membership has steadily increased.  Currently, there are 45 members.

The main goal of the Archie FBLA is to integrate business ethics with school activities.  Our chapter strives to mix education, business, and community to be successful.  We have the opportunity to compute at the District level in March and if the student places in the top two of the category, the student then qualifies for computition at the State level in April in Columbia.

Each year our chapter at last one community service project and one fund-raiser.  Over the years, our community projects have included a food drive, donations to the local women's shelter, and adopting a family at Christmas.  Our fund raiser is the Annual Carnation Sales during the week of Valentine's Day.  Last year we sold over 800 carnations!  It is our chapter belief that the community or to the school.  We have donated money toward the purchase of the mats in the West Gym and purchased 25 new chairs for the business room.
