FFA

According to FFA guidelines, Future Farmers of America (FFA) develops competent and assertive agricultural leaders.  It increases awareness of the global and technological importance of agriculture and its contribution to our well-being.

The FFA Chapter strengthens the confidence of agriculture students in themselves and in their work.  It promotes the intelligent choice and establishment of an agricultural career.  It encourages wise management of economic, environmental, and human resources of the community.

FFA develops interpersonal skills in teamwork, communications, human relations, and social interaction.  It builds character and promotes citizenship, volunteerism, and patriotism.  It promotes cooperation and cooperative attitudes among all people.  It promotes healthy lifestyles and encourages excellence in scholarship.

The year 2000 marks the 50th anniversary of the Archie FFA.  The Archie chapter currently has 72 present and graduate members.  Our chapter is very active in community service.  We participate in various judging contests at both the district and state levels.  Our past includes a rich history and we have high hopes for a bright future.
