National Honor Society
National Honor Society (NHS) is a chosen group of students selected by
a panel of teachers. These students must meet a specific selection
criteria:
-
The student must have
a cumulative scholastic average of 85 percent (3.4 gpa).
-
The student must be approved
by a majority of the members of the Faculty Council on the basis of scholarship,
leadership, service, and character.
This year, NHS is collecting all the white paper used at our school and
taking it to an area recycling center. We are usually in charge of
organizing the courtwarming crowning and dance. NHS plans a field
trip each spring.
