SADD is an acronym for the youth based program Students Against Destructive
Decisions. The program was developed to encourage students and parents
to band together in the fight against drinking and driving. Today,
the program has expanded to include help in making informed decisions about
drugs and violence also.
In our school, SADD members do activities to strengthen student awareness that there is an alternative to destructive behavior. Some of the activities include poster campaigns at holiday times and Black Teardrop Day.
SADD is a support group for teen facing the difficult decisions of today. For more information on the SADD program contact the SADD website at http://www.saddonline.com.
